1. Banana: This fruit which contains potassium to fight muscle cramps also contains the right ingredients to hydrate your skin and improve the look of your hair. Bananas can fight the damage put on your hair from coloring or straightening. To get the great effects of this delicious fruit, mash a banana and apply. If applying to your hair, leave on for fifteen minutes and wash away until gone (add a tablespoon of honey to the mashed banana for some extra help). That’s how the Hawaiians do it!
2. Peach: These fuzzy fruits contain vitamins A and C. The juice of this fruit leaves your skin feeling fresh. Grab a fresh peach slice and rub it on your face. Wait twenty minutes for the juice to do it’s magic, then rinse using warm water.
3. Lemons & Cranberries: The juices of these two fruits are said to give your hair natural highlights. Lemon juice is better for blondes unless you are looking to give yourself pink highlights; Cranberries are effective for darker hair colors. Mix ¼ cup of cranberry/lemon juice with ¼ cup of water. Rinse and condition after 15-60 minutes in the sun.
4. Apple: An apple a day keeps the doctor away. To create a great skin softener, add a cup of apple juice to your bath. The juice can also reduce dandruff if applied as a final rinse in the shower.

These fruits are not only good for outer beauty, but also for inner beauty. According to the Food Pyramid, 2 to 4 servings daily are recommended. Fruit Smoothies are one of the best ways to get your daily serving of fruit.
